5 Day Mandali Experience - Detox Mind, Body and Soul

What it is

This is  an enlightening and fun introduction to gently detoxing the body and mind, by learning healthy, inspiring and “light-bulb moment” practices, recipes and techniques, influenced by Ayurvedic studies, which you can integrate easily into your daily life.

Your days will be filled with meditation, yin and dynamic yoga practice, cleansing and food workshops, healthy lifestyle habits and deliciously nourishing meals which are vegan (with vegetarian options), gluten-free, refined sugar-free, seasonal and wholefoods. All of which combined, is set to satisfy you on multiple levels.

These are 5 days to rest, reset and revitalise your system in a nurturing environment, for you to leave with an abundance of information and practices, to easily continue at home.
Detoxing doesn’t have to be difficult, enjoy the process and feel great!

During the Mandali Experience we also invite everyone to respect a period of social silence every morning until the end of breakfast. Furthermore, you can enjoy our Body Care Center facilities, have a lovely stroll on the mountain, or book a session with one of our bodyworkers.

INTRODUCTION

Together with Samantha Koch, wholefood recipe developer, cook and founder of Healthy Happy, who has worked closely with a number of health food authors, you’ll be identifying food habit and lifestyle practices which can be toxic and unhealthy for your body and mind.

You will learn about healthier alternatives for food preparation, cooking and new methods of cleansing and nourishing the system.

Across the week you’ll be taught about the basics of fermentation, activating & sprouting, plant milks & butters, nourishing whole food cooking and how they all come together to create a selection of delicious recipes, taught each day. These dishes will then be available in the evening meal for you to enjoy.

To quote her mentor, Jude Blereau (author of Wholefood Cooking), “it's not about the food we eat, it's about how food is grown, processed and the context in which we eat”.

Additionally, you’ll be taught easy lifestyle balancing tips for daily practice.
Your yoga practice will be led by the talented Marije Paternotte (E-RYT 500).
Marije encourages her students to find their own yoga and to practice mindfulness in everything they do, thus cultivating non-judgmental self-observation that leads to inner peace, genuine happiness, and the discovery of who they truly are.
