If you are keen to invest in the quality of life, find new approaches to dealing with challenging circumstances and want to cultivate fresh and precise insights into your habitual patterns, a Mindfulness retreat is a good place to start. Training yourself in Mindfulness offers you the ‘best of both worlds’. Mindfulness combines powerful meditation tools with psychological know-how, enabling you to develop profound insight and understanding into how your mind works within a very short period of time. You’ll learn how to use this knowledge to gain inner balance and take charge of your own life.
Reasons to participate: ● You feel you’re being lived ● You want to decrease the ’strain’ of day-to-day life ● You want to be able to enjoy tranquility, reflection and calm ● You want to be less preoccupied by your thoughts ● You experience physical unease due to tension and stress ● You want to learn how to cope with challenging emotions
What to expect During the sessions, Mindfulness theory and practice are interspersed, with dedicated space to discuss and deepen experiences. By focussing on your experience, you allow your awareness to be sharpened and this leads to profound insight. The daily schedule provides plenty of space to allow your insights to settle and anchor themselves, so they can become of most benefit to you.
